Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in Hershey, PA to provide daily supervision and mentorship to a group of 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The role begins with a nine-on/three-off cycle and transitions to living in the same student home as a Placed Houseparent, with relocation benefits and comprehensive, campus-based benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two years of marriage (for both spouses)
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Chapel
- Two-person role for couples
- On-campus residence with students
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Pet restrictions (fish and one dog of approved breeds)
Additional Requirements
- Must be a legally married couple for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Residence on campus with students
- Relocation to Hershey, PA required
