Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in Hershey, PA, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading devotions, and overseeing household budgeting and reporting. Initially nine days on duty followed by three off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a legally married couple at least 27 years old; relocation assistance is provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person couple-based employment applications required
