Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes near Hershey, PA, and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Duties include daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a consistent student home. The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; relocation is provided and housing is included. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
