Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent roles for couples living on campus at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students per home, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially nine days on, followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a fixed student home. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Prohibited alcohol use on duty
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
