Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple role to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, and budgeting/household reporting. Initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to a placed Houseparent living with the same student home. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
Additional Requirements
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual applications
