Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents needed to live on-campus at Milton Hershey School, supervising and guiding a group of approximately 8–13 students in a family-like home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and eventual placement into a fixed student-home with two residents. Initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, with relocation provided and comprehensive benefits. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, willingness to relocate to on-campus housing, and willingness to adhere to campus safety and conduct policies. Both spouses must complete individual applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year two-person couple requirement
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Proselytizing prohibited in chapel services
