Job Summary
Married couples are sought to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, residing in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students and provide mentorship and care. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed Houseparent role after gaining experience. The role follows a nine-on, three-off schedule and offers on-site housing and comprehensive benefits with relocation assistance. Both spouses must complete individual employment applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse requirement for employment applications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
