Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, supervision, mentorship, and activities for a group of roughly 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, medication administration, transporting students, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, supervising budgets and reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like home environment. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transition to a placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
