Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School serve as a two-person married couple living in on-campus student homes, providing supervision, mentorship, medication administration, and engagement in developmental and recreational activities for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include driving to activities, planning and leading devotions and Chapel, overseeing household routines and budgeting, and reporting. Initially, schedules are nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Relocation assistance is provided and benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement options, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- No alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to student success
