Job Summary
Live-in, two-person full-time role as Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and activities for 8–13 students, manage household routines and budgeting, administer medications, transport students to activities, and lead daily devotions including Sunday Chapel. Initially schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a consistent home with the same student group. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and age 27+. Both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
