Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, supervision, and mentorship for a group of ~8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting. Initially work nine days on, three days off, then transition to a placed Houseparent in a single student home. Relocation assistance provided and comprehensive benefits available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
