Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in a student home, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning/developing activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like environment. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- Experience working with youth
- Two-person role for couples
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
