Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students, fostering academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning/engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
