Job Summary
Live-in Houseparents at Milton Hershey School to supervise residential student-life on campus in New Home, TX. Responsibilities include supporting students’ daily routines, supervising after-school activities, managing household tasks, collaborating with educators and support staff, and fostering a safe, nurturing home environment. Ideal candidates are compassionate, organized, and dedicated to promoting social-emotional growth, character development, diversity, personal growth, and lifelong learning for children.”
Required Qualifications
- Ability to live on campus on a full-time basis
- Experience or aptitude in supervising and mentoring students in a residential setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with educators, staff, and students
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and safety in a residential school environment
- Organizational skills for household management and daily routines
- Empathy, compassion, and ability to model positive values and life skills
- Ability to foster a sense of community and support student growth
