Houseparents

Houseparents live on campus at Milton Hershey School to create a safe, nurturing home environment for students in a residential school setting. Responsibilities include supervising after-school activities, managing household responsibilities, collaborating with educators and support staff, and fostering a sense of community. Ideal candidates are compassionate, organized, and committed to diversity, personal growth, and making a lasting impact on children’s lives through daily routines, social and emotional growth, and character development. The role emphasizes caregiving, mentorship, teamwork with educators, and modeling positive values in a home-like residential setting.
