Job Summary
Houseparents live on campus at Milton Hershey School and create a safe, nurturing home environment for students in a residential setting. Responsibilities include supervising after-school activities, managing household tasks, collaborating with educators and support staff, and fostering a sense of community while supporting students’ daily routines, social and emotional growth, and character development. Ideal candidates are compassionate, organized, and committed to diversity, personal growth, and making a lasting impact on children’s lives.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent are often preferred, experience working with children in a residential setting is beneficial.
