Job Summary
Houseparents live on campus at Milton Hershey School and create a safe, nurturing home environment for students in a residential school setting. Responsibilities include supervising after-school activities, supporting students’ daily routines, and fostering social-emotional growth and character development while modeling positive values and life skills. The role involves collaborating with educators and support staff to maintain a sense of community and to nurture a compassionate, organized household that supports students’ well-being and development.
Required Qualifications
- Compassionate and organized
- Commitment to diversity and personal growth
- Experience working with children or adolescents is preferred
- Ability to supervise and support daily routines and activities
- Willingness to live on campus and function as a household manager and caregiver
