Job Summary
Houseparents live on Milton Hershey School campus to create a safe, nurturing home environment for students in a residential school setting. Responsibilities include supervising after-school activities, managing household duties, collaborating with educators and support staff, and fostering a sense of community while supporting students’ social, emotional growth and character development. Ideal candidates are compassionate, organized, and committed to diversity, personal growth, and making a lasting impact on children’s lives.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with youth or in caregiving roles preferred
- Ability to live on campus and be available for evening and weekend duties
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to diversity and student development
- Compassionate and organized
