Job Summary
Houseparents live on campus at Milton Hershey School to supervise students' daily routines, support social and emotional growth, and foster character development. Responsibilities include supervising after-school activities, managing household duties, collaborating with educators and support staff, and creating a safe, nurturing home environment that models positive values and life skills. Ideal candidates are compassionate, organized, and committed to diversity and making a lasting impact on children’s lives.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with caregiving or residential supervision preferred
- Ability to supervise daily routines and after-school activities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to diversity and student well-being
- Ability to collaborate with educators and support staff
- Organized and compassionate with classroom/home management
- Willingness to live on campus
