Job Summary
Houseparents (Full-Time) for Milton Hershey School on campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for ~8–13 students, manage household routines, medications, transportation to activities, and lead devotions and Sunday Chapel. Initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person of $44,768 plus comprehensive insurance, retirement options, and relocation assistance. Requires a two-year married couple, both spouses 27+ years old, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with youth. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
