Job Summary
Houseparents provide daily supervision and mentorship to a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition into a placed houseparent role living with the same students. The role requires a married couple, age 27 or older, with a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, experience with youth, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; on-duty duties include nine days on, three days off, with benefits including medical/dental/vision and retirement options.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to church services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
