Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple houseparents living on campus to supervise, mentor, and support 8–13 students in a family-like home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role over time. Must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses age 27 or older, have a valid U.S. driver’s license, be able to lift 50 lbs, and have experience with youth. Provides relocation assistance, extensive benefits, and paid training; on-site housing and meals during duty shift are included. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA (on-campus) for on-site housing and duties
