Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent team residence in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, support daily routines, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and chapel outings, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off schedule across multiple homes, then transitions to a Placed Houseparent arrangement with the same group of students in a dedicated home. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA, comprehensive benefits, and paid training; requires a legally married couple, both spouses applying individually, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement for employment applications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
