Job Summary
Couples live on campus as Flex Houseparents for 8–13 students in on-campus homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and support; responsibilities include managing household routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel; the role initially covers multiple student homes on a rotating nine-on/three-off schedule, with eventual placement in a single student home, and offers comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance; requires two-year married couples, age 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; employment is full-time with a total compensation around $168,000 per couple including housing and meals on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with youth
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to reside on campus and participate in a smoke-free, weapon-free environment
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to drive student home vans (certification)
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for married couple
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
