Job Summary
Two-person married couple serves as on-campus Flex Houseparents for 8–13 students in their own student home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Salary is $44,768 per person with comprehensive benefits; relocation assistance and paid training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year marriage minimum
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Comfort leading daily devotions and chapel services
