Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents living on-campus to supervise 8–13 students in a student home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, willingness to lead religious activities, and being legally married for at least two years with both spouses aged 27 or older. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided, with benefits including health/dental/vision insurance, retirement savings, paid time off, and relocation assistance.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year marriage minimum for both spouses
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to lead devotions and chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Comply with background checks and training
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
