Job Summary
Two-person married couple role serving as Full-Time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes with 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentoring, medication administration, transportation to activities, and engagement in developmental and recreational activities. Responsibilities include budgeting and household reporting, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, and managing routines until transitioning to a placed houseparent at the same home. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required; compensation per person is $44,768 with overall combined package including housing and benefits. Must have a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and meet two-spouse/age requirements; employment is on a 9-on/3-off cycle during initial placement, with potential for long-term placement in a single student home.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for married couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Committment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
