Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (married couple) reside on-campus in student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, and guidance; administer medications, drive students to activities, plan/develop developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students in their own home. Relocation assistance is provided to relocate to Hershey, PA. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and housing/meal allowances.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse requirement for this two-person role
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- No alcohol on duty; smoke-free campus; weapon-free campus; pet limitations (fish and one dog)
- Must complete individual employment applications for consideration
