Job Summary
Two-person married couple needed as Full-Time Flex Houseparents on-campus in Hershey, PA, residing in student homes to supervise 8–13 students and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from flexible to placed houseparent by living with the same group of students. Compensation includes $44,768 per person plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a two-spouse, married-at-least-two-years commitment with both spouses applying individually.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse two years married
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
