Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes, provide care, supervision, and guidance for a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-on/three-off schedule transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Relocation to Hershey, PA is not specified here; position located in Hershey, PA with on-campus housing and comprehensive benefits included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse two-year marriage minimum
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
