Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent roles on a residential campus supporting 8–13 students in a home-like setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and adapting to a nine-on/two-off schedule with an eventual placement in a single student home. Requires married couples (at least two years) where both spouses are 27 or older, holds a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with limited pet allowances. Relocation assistance is provided; comprehensive benefits and paid training included.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
