Job Summary
Houseparents (Full-Time) for married couples reside on-campus in Hershey, PA to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, administer medications, drive to activities, plan and lead devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee household routines and budgeting. The role begins with a nine-consecutive-day on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans, and both spouses (married at least two years) age 27 or older who will complete individual applications. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Chapel services
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
