Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in Hershey, PA to supervise and mentor groups of 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from nine days on / three days off to a placed houseparent role. Relocation assistance is provided. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement options, paid time off, and housing/meals on duty. Must be a legally married couple, both at least 27 years old, with a high school diploma or GED, possess a valid U.S. driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs; prior experience with youth is preferred and a smoke- and weapon-free campus is required. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
