Job Summary
Houseparents, Full-Time: Married couples reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage daily routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in development and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, oversee budgeting and reporting. The role follows a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle initially, with eventual placement as a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required with comprehensive benefits and relocation support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
