Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance to a group of 8–13 students in on-campus student homes. Manage household routines, administer medications, and ensure student wellness while driving them to activities. Plan and lead developmental, recreational, and devotional programs, including Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting. Work a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, with unscheduled weekday time while students are in school. This two-person role requires a legally married couple to reside on campus and foster a structured, family-like environment supporting academic, emotional, and social development.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
