Job Summary
Houseparents (Full-Time) at Milton Hershey School are a two-person, married-couple role living in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel services, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with the same student group. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student home vans, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. The role offers relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and a total compensation around $168,000 per couple (roughly $84,000 per person). Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and aged 27 or older to be considered.
