Job Summary
Married couples are hired as Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School. The role involves supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and weekend chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. After an initial nine-on/three-off schedule, couples may transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided; both spouses must complete individual applications and meet age, marital, and licensing requirements. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty.
