Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School, a two-person married couple role living in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition to a placed houseparent—nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; relocation assistance provided and benefits included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet restrictions: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
