Job Summary
Houseparents (married couple) for on-campus student homes; full-time, relocation to Hershey, PA. Couples reside with 8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, and care; responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting and reporting. Initial schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive health/retirement benefits, and PTO. Requires two-year marriage, age 27+, driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and high school diploma or GED; includes on-campus housing and meals as part of compensation. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications. Location: Hershey, PA (on-campus role).
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse requirement for this role
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- High school diploma or GED
