Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes with a group of 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation to activities, and engagement in developmental and religious activities. Responsibilities include budgeting and household reporting, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, coordinating schedules, and planning recreational and developmental activities. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule and transitions to a placed houseparent living with the same students. Compensation is per-person with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
