Job Summary
Two-person, on-campus live-in Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in student homes to provide daily supervision, mentorship, routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, and developmentally supportive activities; duties include budgeting/reporting, leading devotions, and ensuring student wellness within a structured, family-like home environment. Initially 9 days on, 3 days off, with eventual placement in a shared student home and full benefits including relocation assistance and paid training. Requires two-year married couple, both 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED; role emphasizes faith-based student engagement and overall student welfare.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year minimum married relationship
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proven professionalism and integrity
- Willingness to live on-campus in student homes
- Ability to lead daily devotions and accompany students to Chapel
