Job Summary
Two-person, Full-Time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School residing in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, provide medications and wellness support, transport students to activities, plan developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and follow a nine-on/three-off duty schedule transitioning to a placed Houseparent in a single student home. Requires a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, and relocation to Hershey, PA. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Willingness to reside on-campus in student homes
