Job Summary
Married couples reside in on-campus student homes as Full-Time Flex Houseparents, supervising 8–13 students and guiding their academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially, couples work a nine-on/three-off cycle across various student homes before transitioning to a placed Houseparent role with the same group of students. Qualifications include experience with youth, a two-person married couple requirement, both spouses aged 27 or older, no more than three dependent children in the home, a smoke-free and weapon-free campus commitment, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Proselytizing prohibited during chapel/services
- Relocation assistance provided
- Morally appropriate conduct and professionalism
