Job Summary
Two-person married couple houseparents live on-campus at Milton Hershey School, providing care, supervision, and mentorship to a group of approximately 8–13 students in a student home. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially, nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a permanent houseparent assignment. Benefits include relocation assistance, full benefits, and housing/meal provisions. Applicants must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, and share individual applications. High school diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student vans; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; commitment to a faith-based, drug- and alcohol-free campus. This role emphasizes family-like caregiving, student development, and adherence to campus policies.
Required Qualifications

- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
