Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes, provide daily supervision and mentorship to 8–13 students, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-days-on / three-days-off schedule transitioning to a placed houseparent living with the same group. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided; high school diploma or GED required; couples must be married for at least two years and both spouses must be 27 or older. A valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
