Job Summary
Couple-focused Full-Time Flex Houseparents live on campus in a family-like setting to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting, and transition to a placed houseparent role. Requires a two-person, legally married couple (both spouses 27+, GED/high school diploma), US driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA or Mont Belvieu, TX. Includes relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and separate compensation for each spouse (~$46,917 per person; ~total $180k per couple). Flex schedule includes 9 days on, 3 days off, with on-campus housing and meals provided while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person couple must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driverlicense and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
