Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household management for 8–13 students in an on-campus home. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and plan developmental and recreational engagements. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting while maintaining a structured, family-like environment. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with unscheduled weekday time while students are in school. This two-person role requires legally married couples, both 27+, to reside in Hershey, PA, offering full-time employment with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
