Job Summary
Two-person married couple Full-Time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from nine days on/three days off to a stable placed houseparent role with the same group of students. Requires experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; comprehensive benefits included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year minimum for the couple (both spouses)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Family environment responsibilities with youth in a school setting
