Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes at Milton Hershey School, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance is provided, with included benefits and training; compensation is $46,917 per person (approximately $180,000 total per couple) plus housing, meals on duty, utilities, and more.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
