Job Summary
Two-person married couple will reside in on-campus student homes as Full-time Flex Houseparents, providing care, supervision, and guidance for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring daily, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed houseparent role with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person around $46,917 plus comprehensive insurance options, retirement benefits, relocation assistance, and paid time off. Requirements include youth experience, two-year married status, age 27+, GED or high school diploma, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
